Wind and rain put a dampener on last year’s Harvey’s Heroes Clinic, but the weather wasn’t out to spoil the party this time around.
Over 800 of Brent Harvey’s biggest (littlest) fans turned out for the annual clinic, with the sun shining over Arden Street. It was perfect weather for footy.
The kids were taken through all the basics of the game, including kicking, handballing, tackling and bumping, and were even given a chance to ponder the tough questions about the weekend’s match during a Q & A session.
“It’s a great turnout. It’s a fantastic day,” Harvey said.
“That’s the future of our football club, with kids running around wearing number 7 and number 20 on the back.”
Following the clinic, the players signed autographs and posed for photos with the appreciate kids and their parents.

There were plenty of future stars on show, but perhaps the best highlights came from the son of a champion, Cooper Harvey.
