McGlynn, who was subbed off with an ankle injury in the third quarter of Saturday’s win over Port Adelaide, is expected to complete full training this week.
Sydney Swans physiotherapist Matt Cameron said Swans defender Nick Smith will not be fit to play in Sunday’s match.
Cameron said Smith is still recovering from an inner ear infection, which lead to a case of vertigo last week.
“Nick won’t be right to play this week,” he said.
“He’s still got an inner ear infection which came on during the week.
“He is on the improve now and he started some exercise again, but he’s not going to be right in time to train and play.”
