Sam Gibson’s tireless performance against the Power has been recognised with three votes from the coaches.
The hard-running midfielder backed up his 33-disposal effort against the Lions in round two, with an impressive outing on Saturday night. He finished with 28 possessions, seven inside 50’s and six clearances.
Gibson had 20 disposals in the first half alone, while Andrew Swallow was the Roos’ most important player thereafter.
The skipper had 16 touches following the main break to finish with 30 for the game, eight clearances and 10 tackles. It was enough for three votes.
Also among the votes were Luke McDonald (one vote), who worked hard all night for his 28 possessions, and Lindsay Thomas (one vote) for his four-goal haul.
Port Adelaide’s Brad Ebert was handed the top votes, finishing with 22 disposals and three goals.
