With an all-important clash against the Bombers looming, North Melbourne will be desperate to keep its season on track with another victory.
The Roos' win against the Tigers was a convincing one, but with a Friday night blockbuster on the cards will need to ensure they have the right mix.
With Daniel Wells already ruled out by coach Brad Scott, it's up to some of North's young guns to stake their claim for a call-up.
NMFC.com.au looks at those in the mix for selection.

Defenders
Jamie Macmillan was a late withdrawal before the win Richmond, replaced by Ben Jacobs who was one of North’s best players. The left-footer amassed 23 disposals (team-high) and could keep his spot in the side.
It makes for an interesting selection dilemma, considering Essendon has been a low scoring team so far in 2015 – only Melbourne and Brisbane have scored fewer points in the first six rounds. If there was to be an extra inclusion, perhaps someone in the forward half would be suited, putting more points on the board and therefore piling pressure onto the opposition forward line.
Aaron Mullett made a successful return from injury last weekend, playing his first game of 2015 in the VFL for North Ballarat. However, he only played two quarters and could remain with the Roosters in the near future to build up his match fitness before being considered for a recall.
Midfielders
With North facing a side that ranks 17th in contested possession differential, there could be a temptation to bring in an extra midfielder who thrives in close. Trent Dumont had a good second half for the Roosters in the VFL, which may have been enough to put his name in front of the match committee.
Meanwhile Daniel Wells’ fitness was ruled out by coach Brad Scott on Wednesday.
"It's really frustrating Daniel and frustrating us that we can't give a definitive timeframe on his return to play," Scott said.
"As it sits at the moment we are going to list him as indefinite, because we just can't put a timeframe on it.
"He won't play this week and it's unlikely that he'll play probably in the next two or three."
Forwards
The win over the Tigers saw perhaps the best performance from North’s forward line for 2015, with players both tall and small looking threatening throughout the afternoon. That makes it hard to see any changes to the setup for Friday night.
The added wildcard thrown into the mix is Jarrad Waite, who has a promising career record against the Bombers.
While at Carlton, Waite polled more Brownlow votes against Essendon than any other side, and has hauls of seven and five goals to his name.
Of the smalls, Kayne Turner sat out last week after being omitted and travelling to Hobart as an emergency. It may have been just the freshen up he needed to push for a recall.
