Anthony Stevens has made a startling revelation about his place in North Melbourne’s Team of the Century.
Interviewed by Mike Sheahan for Monday’s upcoming episode of Open Mike, the 292-game, dual premiership winning, former club captain and two-time Syd Barker Medalist said he believed other players were more worthy of a spot.
“I still don’t think I should have been in the Team of the Century,” Stevens confessed.
“A guy like Jimmy Krakouer should have been in before me.”
Stevens has an extremely rare place in the club’s history – one of only four players to win the Syd Barker Medal in a premiership year.
The full Open Mike episode will air on Fox Footy at 9:30pm on Monday September 14.
