In Australia, footballers are among the biggest celebrities around.

It takes a lot to top playing in front of over 80,000 people and being seen on television by millions, but on Sunday the North players were left starstruck.

Invited to the Utah Jazz training base, the travelling group enjoyed the opportunity to view the gymnasium, courts and facilities; but the biggest thrill was yet to come.

Australian-born NBA stars Dante Exum, fifth pick overall in 2014 Draft, and Joe Ingles were on hand for a shootaround and kick of the footy.

It turns out Exum isn't just talented with the basketball, as illustrated by his amazing trickshot, as he booted the ball from three-quarter court into the ring at the opposite end.

An Essendon fan, Exum wasn't so delighted reliving this year's Elimination Final as the game was explained to the locals.

The Kangaroos' youngsters snapped photos on their phones, and gained insight into the lives of professional basketballers.

For the players, it was the perfect way to cap off a grueling two-week camp.
