Inconsistency has been the story of Adelaide’s season so far, highlighted further by a disappointing second half against the Dockers last week.

In front at the main break, the Crows conceded 9 goals to 3 thereafter and fell by 40 points.

As is often the case, the South Australian media were quick to pounce.

In a state where the Power have taken all before them, the Crows are somewhat of an easy target at the moment. At five wins and six losses, their season hangs in the balance.

Adelaide isn’t the first team to suffer a heavy loss at Patersons Stadium and they certainly won’t be the last. In fact, North’s victory in Round 6 was the first for any team against the Dockers away in 17 outings.

But the coach and his team were left searching for answers.

They’ve beaten two teams in the eight (Collingwood and Gold Coast), with losses to Melbourne and Carlton undoing their hard work.

This week looms as a must-win if the Crows are to stay with the pack.

Sanderson isn’t reading too much into the criticism though, and with the likes of Dangerfield, Walker, Eddie Betts and Scott Thompson at his disposal, Adelaide is a dangerous outfit.

On Saturday night, the Kangaroos should be ready for a fight.
