With 102 and 100-points respectively, Wells and Goldstein were the only North players to score more than 85, and Goldstein in particular is close to the form which made him one of the most selected ruckman in 2011.
While it is a small sample size, Goldstein's average over the past three rounds is 105.7. Among the top-rated ruckman in 2012, Aaron Sandilands averages just under 102-points per round. If the North big man is able to continue his recent output he could well become one of the most popular selections around the league once again.
Wells was another who managed to find the ball regularly during Saturday's game. A team-high 22 disposals led to 102 points and his price edging over $400,000. Despite a week off for the bye in Round 11, a continuance in Wells’ ball-winning resurgence could see him become a valuable addition later in the year.
Aaron Black played his second game of the season against Hawthorn, which means he’s in line for his first price change following his next outing. Currently priced at $150,400, any score in double figures will see his value climb. If Black can have a similar impact to his second quarter against Brisbane he could be close to $200,000 after the match against Gold Coast.
Like Cameron Delaney, Black could become a ‘cash cow’. Despite a lower score than past weeks (37), the price of the younger Delaney brother rose by almost $15,000. At his current rate of scoring, Delaney has another match in him to really maximise his value.
