It’s not normal to find Sally Pearson sitting on the fence, especially when she’s made a career jumping over them, but that’s the situation the Olympic champion finds herself in ahead of the AFL Grand Final.

Asked who she’s tipping out of the Hawks and Swans, “Yet to decide” was the response given to kangaroos.com.au.

The Gold Medal hurdler will need to have made up her mind come Saturday when she’ll be announced as North Melbourne’s 46th Blackwoods Grand Final Breakfast guest of honour.

Pearson joins a top line up of sports stars, politicians and celebrities at the event including three time premiership player Luke Power, Premier Ted Baillieu, Andrew Demetriou, Tony Abbott and comedian Jimeoin.

“The Blackwoods Breakfast is a Grand Final tradition and again we’ve got the who’s who coming as well as about 3,000 guests,” North Melbourne interim CEO Cam Vale said.

“It’s no surprise that we’re close to declaring it a sell-out with limited seats left.”

The event will be broadcast nationally on Fox Footy from 9am ahead of the biggest game of the year; the battle between Hawthorn and Sydney.

Gerard Whateley, Brad Johnson, David King, Gerard Healy and Brad Scott will dissect the game and provide their insight while Australian music icon James Reyne will provide the morning’s entertainment.
