North Melbourne has officially launched the 2025 Good Friday SuperClash.
Following sold-out crowds in 2023 and 2024, the Kangaroos will host Carlton for the third year running at Marvel Stadium on Friday, April 18.
This year marks the eighth year of the Good Friday SuperClash, with the marquee fixture contributing over $2 million to the Good Friday Appeal since its inception in 2017 to help the Royal Children’s Hospital in continuing to provide world-class care to patients and their families from Victoria and beyond.
Players Caleb Daniel and Will Phillips, along with North Melbourne CEO Jen Watt, visited the Royal Children’s Hospital this week to meet some of the patients, families and staff the club will be playing for in this year's SuperClash.
"We are incredibly proud of what the Good Friday SuperClash has become since it was launched in 2017 and the contribution it has made to a cause that is close to the hearts of so many," Watt said.
"It’s a day for perspective, where football takes a back seat, and we celebrate the amazing patients, families and staff of the Royal Children’s Hospital and raise money for the Good Friday Appeal.
"In 2025, we are striving to make yet another record-breaking donation to the Good Friday Appeal, a goal we will only achieve with the help, support and generosity of the North Melbourne and Carlton football communities."
Good Friday Appeal executive director Rebecca Cowan thanked the club for its support.
"Thank you to the AFL and North Melbourne Football Club for their commitment and passion in supporting the Good Friday Appeal across eight years of incredible moments, raising over $2 million in that time. Thanks also to the Carlton Football Club in their third year of support," Cowan said.
"The Good Friday SuperClash creates wonderful experiences for Royal Children’s Hospital patients and staff and footy fans, finding new ways to fundraise and make a difference to sick kids and their families.
"2025 is no different, and we are excited and grateful that the North Melbourne Football Club is taking on the challenge to raise even more."
Tickets to the 2025 Good Friday SuperClash are selling fast, with $5 from every ticket sold and $10 from SuperClash memberships going towards the Good Friday Appeal to help the Royal Children’s Hospital deliver world-class care to patients and their families through ground-breaking research, state-of-the-art equipment and technology, patient and family-centred care programs, and ongoing staff training and development.
