Aaron Mullett is the Round 2 Rising Star
North Melbourne's Aaron Mullett is the round two NAB AFL Rising Star nominee.
The 21-year-old running defender has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, averaging 21.5 disposals while giving the Kangaroos plenty of drive off the half-back line.
His clean disposal and cool head were on show in the loss to Geelong, picking up 20 possessions and laying six tackles.
Mullett was taken with pick 34 in 2011 NAB AFL Rookie Draft and fought his way on to the senior list to debut in Round 22 of the same year.
He has since played 11 senior games.
Mullett was recruited from Vermont Football Club and the Eastern Ranges in the TAC Cup.
