Braydon Preuss is set to challenge a two week suspension for ‘engaging in rough conduct’ following Werribee’s win over Frankston on Sunday.

The developing ruckman was sighted for an incident that occurred in the fourth quarter against Dolphin Matthew Soroczynski.

An additional week was added to the charge because Pruess was suspended in a practice match earlier this year.

“We’ve had a close look at the available footage and I’ve spoken to Braydon this morning and the decision is to contest the charge,” North Melbourne Director of Football Geoff Walsh told NMFC.com.au.

“Werribee has a bye next weekend so we’d be hoping to avoid what could turn into a two or three week lay-off for Braydon if possible.”

The VFL statement reads:
“As a third offence which has been graded as Careless Conduct, Low Impact and Body Contact player Braydon Preuss has been offered a 2 match suspension, for the aforementioned charge with the option to take an early guilty plea of 1 Match Suspension.”
