North Melbourne fans will have the chance to get a closer look at the club’s emerging stars in two VFL/AFL double-headers next year.
VFL affiliate Werribee will play two games at Etihad Stadium, one ahead of the Roos’ clash against the Western Bulldogs on June 24, and the other against Collingwood in Round 20.
With Werribee’s home ground undergoing a redevelopment, John Lamont’s team will play their first game in Torquay against Geelong.
In Round 3 the Tigers will take to North’s traditional home at Arden Street for a clash against Essendon.
It’s the perfect opportunity for supporters to watch the game, before heading across to Etihad Stadium for the AFL fixture against the Gold Coast.
Werribee will travel all across Victoria during the season, with Avalon Airport Oval out of action.
