North Melbourne has the chance to extend its winning streak at Blundstone Arena to seven, and over Melbourne to 15.
But the team's focus will no doubt be on a third straight win to start the season, a feat the Roos haven't managed in more than a decade.

Defenders
Scott Thompson may return if he gets through Thursday's main training session. He was a late withdrawal at the Gabba with general soreness.
The number 16 may get the first opportunity at Melbourne’s target man, Jesse Hogan, although Robbie Tarrant could also line up alongside the tall forward.
As the sole emergency who wasn’t a late inclusion in Brisbane, Aaron Mullett would also likely be in the match committee’s thoughts.
Midfielders
North has won the contested ball in each of the first two wins and its midfield looks to be off to a promising start.
The Dees provide another challenge, with a mix of experience and youth proving dangerous through its good early season form.
It’s hard to argue for a change to the Roos midfield mix, but there are several players pushing their case. Trent Dumont had 20 disposals and 7 clearances for Werribee last weekend, while new recruit Farren Ray had 20 touches and 6 clearances in the VFL practice match.
Forwards
Kayne Turner may have been a late out against the Lions, so may be first in line to get a tap on the shoulder to play if deemed fit.
But the results on the scoreboard so far – 107 and 117 points in each of the first two rounds – may mean the youngster may push for a return through the VFL. Werribee begins its season on Saturday at Windy Hill.
Robbie Nahas has also pressed his case for promotion, booting six of Werribee's nine goals last weekend.
Forecast rain may also have an impact on selection, with a 50 per cent chance of rain at the club's home-away-from-home on Sunday, raising the question of whether a small forward may be preferred over a tall.
