Although the NAB AFL Trade Period is still almost a week away, with the season now behind us trade talks continued in earnest on Wednesday.
Free agency begins on Friday, but clubs will wait until 10am next Monday to actually start making trades.

Veteran Crow set to walk
Adelaide is "not in a position" to offer utility Ricky Henderson a new contract and will let the uncontracted free agent leave the club.
The Advertiser is reporting the Crows will prefer to receive a compensation draft pick rather than orchestrate a trade.
Henderson's manager Ned Guy said "quite a few clubs" were interested in the 28-year-old Victorian.
Guy said Henderson will assess his options next week after he gets married this weekend.
Power backman odds on to stay
Also in The Advertiser, it is being reported that Port Adelaide veteran Matthew Broadbent will remain at the club next year.
The Power is understood to have up to 13 players available for trade, but Broadbent's manager Tom Petroro was confident the defender would stay with the Power.
“I’ve not been in discussions with other club re Matty,” Petroro said.
“I doubt he would play anywhere else than the Power in 2017.”
Tigers in the mix for Hamish
Richmond is considering offering a future first round draft pick for Port Adelaide midfielder Hamish Hartlett, according to Channel 7.
Hartlett is in Melbourne meeting with several clubs including the Tigers, St Kilda and Essendon.
Hartlett is contracted for another four years, but the Power are keen to offload him to ease their salary cap concerns.
Ty tied up early
Hawthorn could secure Richmond forward Ty Vickery on a three-year deal as early as Friday.
The Herald Sun is reporting that the restricted free agent is determined to get to the Hawks after a positive meeting with coach Alastair Clarkson.
The Tigers will receive a second-round pick, currently No.25, or an end of second round (No.37) as compensation depending on Vickery's new contract with the Hawks.
If the Tigers match the deal, Vickery will have to either stay at Richmond or take his chances on reaching Hawthorn through the draft.
Lifeline for Blues discard?
West Coast could throw delisted Carlton forward Clem Smith an AFL lifeline.
Channel Seven reported on Wednesday night that the Eagles were interested in recruiting the WA product.
Smith was taken with pick 60 in the 2014 draft and played seven games under Mick Malthouse and caretaker coach John Barker last year.
Smith played 15 VFL matches this year and couldn't force his way into the senior side.
