Up to 15 Kangaroos could take part in Werribee’s final VFL practice match before the season proper.

Playing against Casey at Casey Fields on Saturday afternoon, it will be another chance for Jed Anderson to press his claims for a recall to the North side.

Three games into his comeback from his injury, Anderson has excelled playing in the midfield and is knocking on the door.

The three emergencies for this week’s AFL clash – Ryan Clarke, Ed Vickers-Willis and Corey Wagner – have also been named in the VFL side.

Wagner has tallied high possession numbers in the last fortnight, playing a mixture of midfield and forward minutes.

In attack, Ben McKay and Nick Larkey will resume their growing partnership close to goal. The latter has kicked seven goals in the last fortnight.
