More than 500 North Melbourne fans heeded the call to ‘Be A Shinboner’ by signing up as members during a telethon on Wednesday night.
The entire club – both players and staff – joined in to hit the phones, with teams competing for bragging rights as the night’s top sellers.
Shaun Higgins was the star salesman on the night, with Ryan Clarke, Nick Larkey and Marley Williams also on the standout team.
New leader Higgins edged out Scott Thompson for most memberships on the night, with 36.
North’s 2017 membership tally now sits at more than 33,000, as the countdown continues to the season-opener against West Coast at Etihad Stadium.
