After battling multiple foot injuries, midfielder Ben Jacobs is finally fit and raring to go and has been named in North’s Round 1 side.

Jacobs, who hasn’t played a game since Round 8, 2016, impressed in both JLT Community Series matches earlier this year, and has been rewarded with a senior call-up.

24-year-old Jed Anderson has also successfully recovered from injury, and has earnt a spot in North’s side following an impressive performance in last weekend’s VFL practice match.

Anderson’s willingness to put his head over the ball and win the football in the contest was the highlight of his performance, and the midfielder showed no signs of that thumb injury which sidelined him during the pre-season.

Earlier this week, North Media announced that former Hawk, Billy Hartung, and the club’s first-round pick in last year’s NAB AFL Draft, Luke Davies-Uniacke, will make their North debuts after impressive pre-seasons.
