After 147 games with Port Adelaide, Chad Wingard looks likely to make his debut for Hawthorn on Sunday against North Melbourne.
The 25-year-old has almost completed a recovery from a calf strain according to Hawthorn’s website.
"He is progressing really well and has had a really good block of work,” Hawks’ Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd said.
"He'll train fully this week and will be a test to play."
It means the small forward could face-off against his former teammates, Jared Polec and Jasper Pittard, on the MCG.
