Reigning VFLW premiers North Melbourne has named its playing squad for the 2025 season, with Brett Gourley remaining at the helm for a second straight season.

Grand Final winners Tahlia Meier, Brooke Slaney, Georgia Nicholas, Matilda Zander, Alana Barba, Maddie Di Cosmo, Zara Flanigan, Elisabeth Jackson, Mara McSweeney, Renee Tierney, Amanda Ling, Nicole Hales, Nyakoat Dojiok and Kate Reynolds will all pull the blue and white on again and will be joined by another five returning players.

Pacey small forward Zoe Savarirayan will feature for the club again after playing four games across three seasons for North Melbourne at AFLW level.

Half-back Courtney Ugle and forward Mia-Rae Clifford have come across to Arden Street from the Western Bulldogs. The duo also played alongside Barba and Tierney for Essendon in their flag-winning season of 2022.

After 24 games and eight goals for Richmond's AFLW side, Stella Reid joins North Melbourne, as does Gen Lawson-Tavan who's notched 25 AFLW appearances across the past three seasons for Carlton and Sydney,

Former AFLW No.1 draft selection Bridget Deed has been added to the squad following a stint with Hawthorn, while experienced campaigner Jacqui Vogt has made the switch from Windy Hill to North Melbourne.

Former Southern Saints and 2024 Team of the Year members Tessa Boyd and Charlotte Ryan have also become Kangaroos for the season ahead.

North Melbourne plays its first game of the year against Carlton at Arden Street Oval on Good Friday, April 18. The first bounce is slated for 9.15am AEST and will be followed by the VFL side's clash with the Blues, set to start at 12.05pm AEST.
