The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos will head across to Mission Whitten Oval to host Port Adelaide under Friday night lights.

The Kangas are coming off a resounding 50-point win over Melbourne at Casey Fields, while the Power will be looking to bounce back after a narrow loss to Fremantle.

Parking is available in surrounding streets

There is a large public car park located at West Footscray train station on Cross Street.

No public parking at the ground itself

Public Transport

Bus:
Bus 220 (Sunshine – Melbourne CBD – Gardenvale) runs regularly and stops on Barkly Street. Bus 216 & Bus 219 also run through the Melbourne CBD, stopping on the corner of Barkly Street & Gordon Street.

Train:
Whitten Oval is located across from West Footscray Train Station (approximately 500 meters away). Trains run regularly to and from the Melbourne CBD on the 'Sunbury' line.

The opposition

After flexing their muscles against the Bulldogs in Week 2, the Power suffered their second loss of the season against the Dockers last Saturday, going down by eight points at Alberton Oval.

Despite the loss, Julia Teakle continued her solid form with two majors after slotting four against the Dogs, while off-season acquisition Kirsty Lamb was busy with 16 touches and eight clearances.
