Charlie Comben and Cam Zurhaar have both earned Virgin Australia AFL Mark of the Year nominations for their big grabs against Geelong in Round 20.

Comben - who was deployed as a forward for the second consecutive week after starting the season off as a key defender - flew in the first term and got a quick sit on Cats defender Jack Henry as he took to the skies.

Zurhaar's pluck came late in the fourth, with the dynamic forward using Mitch Duncan to soar and get on the end of a hurried ball from teammate Darcy Tucker.
