Ruckman Hamish Free has been placed in AFL concussion protocols and will be out of action for this week's round of football.
Following the VFL side's five-point win over Sydney at Tramway Oval, the 25-year-old reported some delayed concussion symptoms.
"Hamish is still symptomatic in this early recovery phase of his program," North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White told NMFC Media.
"As he's now had multiple concussions across the past year, his management and return to play guidelines will be more extensive."
Besides Free, it's a relatively clean bill of health for the Kangaroos who will face the second-placed Blues at Marvel Stadium on Sunday evening.
Brayden George is recovering well from surgery and his knee has reduced in swelling and increased its range of movement across the past week.
Josh Goater and Callum Coleman-Jones (Achilles) are "starting to make good inroads with building their calf strength and running mechanics," White said.
