North Melbourne's Charlie Lazzaro has added a handful of coaches' votes to his season count following Sunday's six-point VFL win over Casey at Casey Fields.

Lazzaro earned nine votes after gathering 31 disposals, eight clearances, and six inside 50s against the Demons.

He spent most of the contest running through the midfield, but spent time at half-forward and managed to tally a couple of intercept grabs when he went through the half-back rotation.

Four goals and 18 disposals saw small forward Robert Hansen jnr receive seven votes.

It was the small forward's most productive outing of the season so far and he was a key difference-maker when the result was in the balance.

Darting defender Colby McKercher was the next highest-rated Roo according to the coaches, polling three votes. In his return from a bone stress issue in his foot, McKercher notched 31 touches, eight marks, and seven rebound 50s in just three quarters.

Casey's Mitch White (six votes) and Andy Moniz-Wakefield (five) both polled for the home side.
