North Melbourne has been forced into a late change for Sunday's clash with Collingwood at Marvel Stadium, withdrawing co-captain Jy Simpkin.
Last week's two-goal hero suffered a low-grade hamstring strain late in Friday's main training session and has been replaced by midfielder Will Phillips.
Forward Jaidyn Stephenson has been locked in as the Roos' tactical substitute against his old side.
As confirmed earlier on Friday, versatile tall Brynn Teakle will make his Kangas debut and feature in his first AFL match since Round 9, 2023.
The 15th overall pick from the mid-season rookie draft grabbed three contested marks and snagged a goal in his first VFL outing as a Roo, to quickly push his case for selection.
Teakle replaces youngster Wil Dawson, who sustained a high-grade AC joint injury in the early stages of last week's win against the Eagles.
The Roos will be eager to ride the wave of momentum formed in their thrilling Round 13 victory in Perth when they take on the Pies, with a huge crowd expected.
It'll be an afternoon of celebration for the club as it throws back to the '90s to honour its 1999 premiership triumph.
