Six North Melbourne players have polled Coaches MVP Award votes for their performances in the opening round of the 2024 VFL season.
Young forward Tyler Sellers earned nine votes, alongside Northern Bullants' Patrick Fairlie, after booting a game-high six goals from 15 disposals in the 39-point triumph.
The performance has put him right in the mix for a senior debut, which could come as early as Good Friday should AFL coach Alastair Clarkson and the match committee opt to include the 21-year-old in the side to face Carlton.
Defender Miller Bergman (29 disposals, eight inside 50s) and veteran onballer Liam Shiels (33, eight) were the next-highest rated players on the ground with three votes apiece.
Inside midfielders Will Phillips and Jack Watkins were awarded two votes each. Phillips accumulated 30 disposals and eight inside 50s working in tandem with his captain Watkins who booted the first major of the game before going onto finish with 27 possessions.
On VFL debut, 2022 draftee Brayden George (21 disposals, four marks) won one vote for his efforts off half-back.
