How Atley finished the season
It was a season of adjustment for Atley. After a breakout 2012, opposition teams put more time and effort into restricting the run and carry of the number 18, dragging him deeper into the defensive 50.
It was reflected in his decrease of inside 50's - down from 50 in 2012 to 37.
However in an extremely promising sign, even with the additional defensive responsibility, Atley conceded fewer goals, dropping to 23 from 29 last season.
