North Melbourne has finalised its AFL list ahead of the 2024 season, signing sharpshooter Tyler Sellers in the Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period.

Standing at 193cm, Sellers spent 2023 as a key forward for the club’s VFL team, kicking 30 goals from 16 appearances.

The 21-year-old's strong performances, especially in the back half of the campaign, saw him finish runner-up in the reserves’ best and fairest count.

Sellers' signing comes after he booted three goals during the Kangaroos' intraclub clash last Wednesday, gelling well with seasoned forwards Nick Larkey and Cam Zurhaar.

He becomes the 11th new player North Melbourne has added since the 2023 AFL season, joining national and rookie draft selections Colby McKercher, Zane Duursma, Taylor Goad, Wil Dawson, Riley Hardeman and Finnbar Maley, and trade/free agent recruits Dylan Stephens, Zac Fisher, Bigoa Nyuon and Toby Pink.

"We are excited to offer Tyler our final list spot ahead of the 2024 season," North Melbourne head of football talent Brady Rawlings said.

"Tyler stood out to us with his overhead marking and goal kicking ability in the VFL last year and has continued to impress while training with us over the pre-season.

"He has brought a great attitude towards training, and we look forward to watching him further develop his skills and attributes with this opportunity at AFL level."
