The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have added three players to their extended squad for Sunday's NAB AFLW Grand Final against Brisbane.

Liz McGrath, Ellie Gavalas and Lucy Burke have been added to the squad that defeated Adelaide by one point in last weekend's preliminary final.

With no injuries from their nail-biter against the Crows, the Kangaroos have a full squad available for selection other than youngster Zoe Savarirayan, who continues her recovery from a knee injury.

Emma Kearney is set to captain the Roos in the club's first AFLW decider, six days after making history by becoming the competition's first eight-time All Australian.

It will be Kearney's second Grand Final, after she won the 2018 premiership with the Western Bulldogs, also against the Brisbane Lions.

Jas Garner has been named on the ball, aiming to add a premiership medal to the swag of silverware she has already collected this month. Garner won the AFLW Players' MVP award, the AFL Coaches' Champion Player of the Year award and her sixth All Australian selection, and finished equal fourth in the AFLW Best and Fairest award

The Kangaroos have faced Brisbane once this season, losing a thriller by two points in Launceston in Round 4.

North Melbourne's final 21-player team will be confirmed on Friday at 5pm AEDT.
