North Melbourne will go into the 2018 season with the second-youngest and least experienced AFL list in the competition.

Only the Gold Coast Suns have a lower average age in their squad, with the Roos' players over a year younger than the oldest side, Adelaide, on average. 

North's average games played tally is just 52, one less than the Saints' 53, and a long way off Hawthorn, with its experienced list averaging 74 games. 

Just two seasons ago, the Roos were second for average age (25 years, 155 days) and first for games played (93.9).
