As one of the Stadium’s main tenants, the club wishes to congratulate AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou and Stadium CEO, Ian Collins AM for the significant outcome which has been reached.
“This is a fantastic result for Victorian based clubs which play a number of home games at Etihad Stadium throughout the year,” North Melbourne CEO Eugene Arocca said.
Melbourne Stadiums Limited has agreed to provide AFL clubs an additional $5.5 million per year from 2010 until the expiration of the lease period in March 2025.
“I’m sure I speak on behalf of all the North Melbourne members and supporters in thanking the AFL for its support during the push for a better outcome on stadium returns,” Arocca added.
“This successful resolution will help our club grow its brand further and enable us to continue to be successful on and off the field.”
