Hawthorn running machine Billy Hartung's future remains uncertain, but former Richmond key forward Tyrone Vickery will not be traded.

Meanwhile, dual premiership player Taylor Duryea will stay at the Hawks.

Hawthorn wants to land Port Adelaide speedster Jarman Impey, who has indicated a desire to move despite being contracted with the Power until the end of 2018.

List manager Graham Wright told reporters at Etihad Stadium on Monday morning for the launch of the NAB AFL Trade Period that Hartung could be move on.

Hartung, who was drafted at No.24 in 2013, is out of contract.

"We're not ruling that out, that he stays with us," Wright said.

Vickery, who joined the club as a free agent from Richmond last year, had a miserable first year at the Hawks, having lined up in just six games.

"He's not on the table," Wright said.

Duryea, a restricted free agent, is expected to confirm a new deal shortly.

"Taylor will stay, so that's been agreed to," Wright said.
