After starring again with another commanding midfield performance, Luke Davies-Uniacke has polled perfectly for the second straight week in AFLCA Champion Player Award voting.
In a dominant outing against the Dockers in Round 2, Davies-Uniacke collected 30 disposals and 11 clearances and kicked a classy, much-needed goal in the fourth quarter.
He now stands alone at the top of the leaderboard, five votes clear of Collingwood's Nick Daicos.
Midfielder Jy Simpkin polled for the first time as co-captain, receiving four votes after amassing 25 disposals and 10 inside 50s, while current Coleman Medal leader Nick Larkey was awarded three for his important four-goal haul.
Building on his debut game was Rising Star nominee Harry Sheezel who collected 30 touches, nine rebounds and eight marks to earn three votes.
Fellow defender Jack Ziebell (26 disposals, 11 marks) was also recognised by coaches Alastair Clarkson and Justin Longmuir, polling his first vote of 2023.
Luke Ryan (five votes), Sam Switkowski (two) and Andrew Brayshaw (two) all received votes for the opposition.
