The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos secured a finals berth with an empathic 32-point win over the Magpies last Saturday, but Darren Crocker and the match committee have some tough decisions to make ahead of the final round.

After making her recovery from a hamstring strain suffered during training in the lead-up to Round 3, Ellie Gavalas is a chance to be included in the squad that is set to face off with Richmond on Sunday.

Gavalas, who hasn't played for the Kangaroos since recording 10 disposals and a goal against Melbourne in Round 2, would add more experience to a forward line that has been finding its groove as of late.

Also raising their hand for a potential return is Sophie Abbatangelo who was a late withdrawal due to illness last Saturday.

Her replacement, Charli Granville, starred at Victoria Park with two goals (including the first of her career) out of the side's nine, which could make it difficult for Abbatangelo to slot straight back in despite her handy ability of bringing teammates into the game with her disposal.

With Gavalas and Abbatangelo readily available, 17-year-old small forward Zoe Savarirayan may be unlucky when it comes to selection after a relatively quiet Round 9 outing.

Emma Kearney will be a test with knee soreness after some friendly fire courtesy of Vikki Wall saw the captain leave the field on Saturday in the dying stages of the fourth quarter.

She returned to the contest, however, with strapping on her right knee and will be given every chance to play in this weekend's crucial clash at Arden Street Oval.

Midfielder Hannah Bowey will re-enter the pool of possible additions after making her return from a concussion in the non-selected players' scratch match last weekend.

Forward Ella Maurer has shaken off illness and will join Bowey in the mix, as will experienced defender Danielle Hardiman and key position draftees Sophia McCarthy and Grace Matser.
