AFL commentator Dennis Commetti often says footballers work in a ‘phone booth’ when playing in confined spaces around the ball, but as Hamish McIntosh discovered, that’s also life as a North Melbourne archivist.
Barb Cullen is in charge of the club’s vast collection of memorabilia and keepsakes with some priceless pieces dating back to the 1800s. Each day, she seems to unearth more items and space at the club has become somewhat of an issue.
