The fun continued on the trip back home with the team at The Spirit of Tasmania taking care of their journey.
Jack Ziebell, one of the toughest players at North Melbourne, was nervous about getting sea sick but discovered there was nothing to worry about.
“I was fantastic…calm seas and smooth sailing all the way. It was a really great experience,” Ziebell told kangaroos.com.au.
“I would definitely recommend a trip on the Spirit of Tasmania for any members who would like to come down to Hobart for our two games and make a bit of a holiday out of it.”
Daniel Wells said he also thoroughly enjoyed his time on the ship.
“It was a great trip and we had a really nice meal last night. I got to sleep pretty quickly and then when I woke up, we were already in Melbourne.”
