North Melbourne has made one change for Sunday's game against Sydney at the Swinburne Centre.
As revealed on Thursday, Zoe Savarirayan, a former soccer star plucked from Wesley College and NPL Victoria's Bulleen Lions, will run out for her first senior match.
The 17-year-old has replaced draftee Sophia McCarthy (omitted) in the line-up.
A skilful small forward, Savarirayan will be the first player of Indian heritage to have represented North Melbourne's women's team.
McCarthy, along with six other Roos, will take part in a practice match on Sunday to maintain fitness for selection.
Hannah Bowey, Charli Granville, Danielle Hardiman, Perri King, Grace Matser and Ella Maurer will also participate.
Ellie Gavalas (hamstring) remains unavailable as she progresses in her recovery, while Cassidy Mailer (bone stress) is slowly building her training load.
The Roos and Swans will clash from 5.10pm AEDT at Punt Road, where North were triumphant over the then-unbeaten Bulldogs in Round 5.
