North Melbourne young gun Paul Curtis has committed his immediate future to the club, with the exciting forward penning a new contract at Arden Street through to the end of 2025.
A product of the Western Jets, Curtis was taken with the 35th selection in the 2021 NAB AFL Draft.
One of the major improvers for the club across this season, Curtis’ strong VFL form led to a senior debut in Round 6 against Geelong.
Curtis has gone on to play 10 consecutive games and has kicked six goals since his debut. His consistent exposure to senior football has seen him improve week on week.
Curtis says he’s delighted to be staying at Arden Street.
“I’m absolutely stoked to sign on. It’s such a young group and to have the experience playing [10] games, I’m just stoked to be here and ride the journey,” Curtis said.

With Curtis joining the likes of Tarryn Thomas and Tristan Xerri in extending their contracts this season, head of football performance Dan McPherson says he’s happy to see another of the club’s young players re-commit to the side.
“We’ve been really pleased with how Paul has come along this season and to have him sign on until the end of 2025 is a great boost for the club,” McPherson said.
“He’s acquitted himself really well at AFL level this year and a lot of that comes down to the hard work he’s been putting in on the training track. He’s a mature young man with great character, and the growth he’s displayed so far is going to hold him in good stead for his career at North Melbourne.”
