A heart-stopping six-point win in the VFL and a number of players looking to return from injury have provided David Noble with a number of options with which he could change his side up for this weekend's AFL clash with Geelong.
Sunday's game is the first opportunity the Kangaroos will have to play in front of the Tassie faithful, and a number of players are pushing hard to be included in the trip to the club's home away from home.
North Media looks at who is in the mix.
North Melbourne's forward line has the potential to look vastly different this weekend as Cam Zurhaar, Charlie Comben and Paul Curtis are all putting their hands up for selection.
Zurhaar missed the Good Friday SuperClash due to a concussion picked up in Round 4 against Sydney, and while he should be able to put his hand up for selection he still needs to clear the AFL's concussion protocols before returning to competitive play.
Comben and Curtis are perhaps the biggest winners of Friday's VFL win over Footscray, with the pair finishing the clash with four goals apiece as they led the side to victory.
Curtis impressed with his ability to not just hit the scoreboard but also provide immense tackling pressure over the course of the game, while Comben's ability to get from contest to contest as well as pinch-hit in the ruck could see them both become appealing options for Noble this weekend.
The expected absence of Aaron Hall due to a hamstring injury has opened up a spot in the defence this week, and there are a number of Kangaroos who could fill the void that will be left by the veteran.
Miller Bergman looks to be the most like for like replacement for Hall, with the first-year player's ability to efficiently move the ball by foot lending itself well to selection in the senior side. He finished the VFL clash with Footscray with 20 disposals and six marks.
Should North elect for a taller option, Matt McGuinness is coming off of his best game since being drafted to the club in 2019.
With fellow key defender Marty Hore going down injured in the second quarter of the Footscray clash, McGuinness had to step up and lead an under siege defence to victory. He had no problems finding the football and finished with 28 disposals and 12 marks.
Should the match committee elect to run with a more experienced option, both Kyron Hayden and Aiden Bonar put in strong performances at VFL level.
Bonar was forced to play as a key defender for much of the clash due to the absence of Hore, while Hayden was a strong and athletic presence on the half-back flank.
Ruck/forward Callum Coleman-Jones has also continued his strong form at reserve level as he took on AFL veteran Stefan Martin in the middle of the park.
Coleman-Jones was ably supported by Jacob Edwards and Comben in the ruck, and finished with 16 disposals, 15 hitouts and five clearances.
Livewire Tarryn Thomas is also a chance to make an earlier than expected return to the side from internal bruising, however this week's clash could come too early for him.
To be in contention for a spot in the side Thomas will have to get through this week's main training session on Thursday.
