A trio of North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have been named in the 40-player All-Australian squad, with Ash Riddell, Jas Garner and Emma Kearney nominated amongst some of the best players the AFLW has to offer.

Riddell put together a career-best season in 2022, finishing second in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year race, as well as setting all-time record for disposals in a season (322) and disposals in a game (42 in Round 10).

Garner was once again at her imperious best this past campaign and finished as the Kangaroos' leading goalkicker (11 goals) despite spending most of her time in the midfield.

Emma Kearney flourished in her new role in defence and added some much-needed pace, drive and class from the half-back flank. She'll be looking to continue her record of being named in every AFLW All-Australian side in history.

The final team will be announced at the W Awards on Tuesday, April 5.
