Kyron Hayden will become the ninth player to make their North Melbourne debut in 2019, when he lines up against Collingwood on Saturday night.
The strongly-built midfielder was named in the Roos’ 22, presented by The Wharf Hotel, on Thursday.
Hayden has been a strong performer at VFL level all season, named in the best on four occasions from nine games.
He will become Shinboner #1021, and is the first player to wear number 37 in the royal blue and white since Sam Wright, in 2009.
The 20-year-old was the Roos’ third pick at the 2017 NAB AFL Draft, but underwent shoulder surgery less than a month after being selected.
Hayden’s good form has seen him named as an emergency on multiple occasions this season.
A moment Kyron Hayden will never forget!
