Supporters will be able to watch the Kangaroos FREE on Sunday

The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' Round 9 match against Brisbane on Sunday has been relocated to Victoria.

With severe flooding affecting Queensland and northern New South Wales, the finals-shaping match has been moved from Maroochydore to the VU Whitten Oval in Melbourne's inner west.

The opening bounce at Whitten Oval remains at 1.10pm AEDT on Sunday. 

AFL competition manager Laura Kane thanked Kangaroos and Lions supporters for their understanding around the late venue change. 

"Our thoughts are with all football clubs and communities in Wide Bay, Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales who are impacted by the current floods," Kane said.  

Head down to Whitten Oval for FREE entry to the game

Entry to the Western Bulldogs' home ground of Whitten Oval on Sunday will be FREE for all supporters. 

Anyone who purchased a ticket for the match in Maroochydore will receive a full refund. No action is required from the ticket purchaser. 

Support women’s football and be part of history by becoming a member

While this weekend’s match is an away game, joining up as a member of the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos is a great way to support both the club and women’s football.

North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos members holding an AFLW All Access or Future Roo membership can redeem a FREE ticket for each home game.
