From Kalgoorlie in outback Western Australia, Hansen jnr arrived at North Melbourne via Subiaco with pick No.2 in the 2023 AFL Mid-Season rookie draft.
A silky small forward with a neat left foot, Hansen jnr is a creative presence in the forward 50, and has shown flashes of potential in his running and link-up play on the flanks.

2024: Hansen jnr had to bide his time for an opportunity in his first full season as a Roo, but after 14 games and 15 goals at reserve level he was called up for the final six senior games.
He notched his first AFL goal upon his recall in Round 19 against Carlton, and in his next full match in Round 23 against the Western Bulldogs he kicked another two.
