"Oh wow, you're kidding me?"
That was the reaction from Luke Davies-Uniacke when he found out he'd be wearing the number 9 guernsey in 2018.
"That's unreal," Davies-Uniacke said in amazement.
"I'm rapt."
The youngster was drafted with North's first selection, pick 4, at the NAB AFL Draft.
He will take over one of the most famous numbers in the club's history, worn previously by the likes of Barry Cable and Andrew Swallow.
