Curtis Taylor and Kyron Hayden could be in line for their North Melbourne debuts, after being named in the initial squad to take on Geelong.
The 26-man squad, presented by The Wharf Hotel, includes Taylor and Hayden among an extended interchange bench.
Taylor was recruited last year with the 46th selection in the NAB AFL Draft. He has starred in recent weeks, playing in attack for North’s VFL side.
Hayden arrived at the club with pick 62 in 2017, and has played a key role in the Roos’ midfield at VFL level throughout the first five rounds.
Luke Davies-Uniacke is also in the mix for a call-up, after responding well to his omission last week, while key-defender Sam Durdin made positive return from a finger injury.
The final team will be announced on Friday afternoon, with the initial bench of eight trimmed to four.
