Off the back off a tightly contested clash with Richmond and just a six-day break before travelling to Tasmania, North may look to make some changes for its Round 9 clash.
North Media looks at those in the mix for selection ahead of Saturday’s match with GWS.
Defenders
Ben McKay has continued his impressive VFL form in defence, using his size and strength to impact a number of contests, taking strong intercept marks, as well as spoiling.
Fellow key defender Sam Durdin has also stood tall in the backline, and is beginning to find some strong form and lead from the front.
Midfielders
Paul Ahern continues to impress in the VFL, with another relatively strong performance on the weekend. The 21-year-old has been an emergency for the past three matches, and remains well and truly in the selection frame.
First-year player Will Walker was efficient with ball in hand, kicking two goals from his 14 disposals on the weekend.
Forwards
After being omitted last week, Cameron Zurhaar bounced-back strongly in the VFL, using his strength to win a number of clearances around the ground and impressed through the midfield.
Taylor Garner might need another week after returning from hamstring soreness, but his defensive pressure is vital for the Roos when fit.
