North Melbourne has made two changes to its team to face Gold Coast this weekend, with Will Phillips and Lachie Young coming into the side.

A number of strong performances at VFL level have led to Phillips’ recall, as he played a pivotal role in last week’s 3-point victory over Coburg.

The inside midfielder was arguably best on ground and finished with 30 disposals, 19 contested possessions, 7 tackles and 9 clearances in a dominant showing.

Young comes back into the side after being the unused medical substitute last week in the clash against Brisbane.

He’s been a near ever-present at AFL level this season, playing the first 12 games of the year in his first campaign at North Melbourne, offering versatility in the back line or on the wing.

Tom Powell (managed) and Bailey Scott (omitted) will miss out.
