North Melbourne has made two changes for its side to take on Hawthorn on Saturday, with Trent Dumont and Taylor Garner in line to make their first senior appearances of the season.
The pair returns at the expense of the injured Aiden Bonar and Jaidyn Stephenson.
Dumont will come into the side for his 100th career game, after proving his fitness at VFL level with 24-disposals and 9 tackles in last week’s loss to Southport.
He’s been missing from senior action since suffering a pre-season calf injury over the Christmas period, and his experience will be a welcome addition to a young and exciting North midfield.
Garner has been a near ever-present at VFL level so far this season, taking trademark, high-flying marks and providing leadership and quality in the forward-line.
He comes into the side off the back of a solid 18-disposal, 7-mark performance.
Will Phillips, Atu Bosenavulagi, Tristan Xerri and Bailey Scott make up the emergency list.
