Hawthorn midfielder Jaeger O'Meara is expected to play against North Melbourne on Saturday.
O'Meara has missed the last two games due to a hip concern, but is expected to take his place for the University of Tasmania Stadium clash.
"Jaeger's had some hip irritation over the last couple of weeks which has meant he hasn't be able to play the last two games," Hawthorn's Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd told the club's website.
"He's progressing really well. He was able to do a little bit of straight line ball work last week and fully trained today, so the plan for Jaeger is to full train on Thursday, and assuming he gets through that session okay, we expect him to play this week."
Jack Gunston also faces a fitness test after experiencing back spasms.
