North Melbourne has announced its VFL side to take on Casey on Thursday night, with an extended interchange of 13 players named.
Trent Dumont headlines the list of inclusions as he continues his return from a calf injury.
“He’ll play some limited minutes on Thursday night for our VFL side … then [have] a really good recovery period,” GM of Football Brady Rawlings said in the AIA Injury Update.
There is plenty of AFL quality named in the forward line, with Patrick Walker, Taylor Garner, Will Walker and Curtis Taylor all among those in with a chance to play.
Patrick Walker makes his way back into the side after missing the last two fixtures with a hip injury.
Dom Tyson looks to be making a return to VFL level, being named on the wing alongside Bailey Scott.
Alex Polidoros will make his first VFL appearance of the season, as the number-73 has been named in defence alongside fellow inclusion Josh Clayton.
The extended interchange includes AFL-listed players Connor Menadue, Charlie Lazzaro, Will Phillips, Eddie Ford, Jack Mahony, Cam Zurhaar and Atu Bosenavulagi, while Tom Donnelly and Harrison Gunther loom as potential VFL-listed inclusions.
The game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
